Adam LaMotte is celebrated as a versatile leader of both period and modern ensembles, appearing as soloist and concertmaster with groups such as the Northwest Sinfonietta, Portland Baroque Orchestra, Boulder Bach Festival, and Ars Lyrica. A Grammy nominee with El Mundo baroque ensemble, Adam serves as Program Director for the Berwick Academy, mentoring young professionals in period performance. As Artistic Director of the Montana Baroque Festival, he brings world-class performances to rural Montana. In 2018, he founded the Amadeus Chamber Orchestra in Portland, continuing his mission of connecting audiences with inspiring and historically informed music-making.
