Paris native Brune Macary is a versatile violinist specializing in baroque and modern performance. Based in Boulder for the past decade, she is a member of Boulder Bach Festival’s CORE ensemble and the Baroque Chamber Orchestra of Colorado, frequently collaborating with Seicento Baroque Ensemble, Colorado Chamber Players, and Parish House Baroque. On modern violin, Brune serves as Principal Second Violin with Boulder Chamber Orchestra and performs with Sphere Ensemble and Steamboat Symphony Orchestra. A dedicated educator, she maintains an active studio of violin and viola students in Nederland, Colorado, blending her passion for historically inspired and contemporary music-making.
