Cellist Joseph Howe is a passionate performer and educator, with a focus on historically inspired performance. A key member of COmpass REsonance, he regularly appears with American Bach Soloists and recently performed at the Smithsonian Beethoven Institute. Joseph holds titled positions with Boulder Chamber Orchestra—where he appeared as concerto soloist—and Colorado Springs Philharmonic. Chamber music highlights include performances with Front Range Chamber Players and Chintimini Chamber Music Festival. As a 2024/25 Mentor in CORE’s Fellowship Artist Initiative, Joseph will coach young string players and lead educational outreach, while maintaining an active studio of budding cellists.
