Dr. Keith Barnhart is a versatile guitarist whose passion spans classical, baroque, and contemporary styles. A performer on lute, theorbo, baroque, and modern guitars, he collaborates with ensembles like the Smithsonian Chamber Music Society, Boulder Bach Festival’s CORE, and Pro Musica Colorado. Keith earned degrees from the Lamont School of Music, San Francisco Conservatory, and a Doctorate from the University of Colorado, focusing on the 10-string guitar. He serves as Boulder Bach Festival’s Educational Coordinator, presenting concerts and lectures across Colorado. A Certified Music Practitioner, he provides therapeutic music in healthcare settings and teaches guitar through Lead Guitar and Rocky Mountain Fiddle Camp.
