Bulgarian violist Koko Dyulgerski is Co-Artistic Director of the Torrey Chamber Music Festival and Principal Viola of the Central City Opera Orchestra. Based in Denver, he performs with the Colorado Symphony and Opera Colorado. A graduate of Rice University, where he studied with Ivo-Jan Van der Werff, Koko previously trained under Kevork Mardirossian. In Houston, he performed with Mercury Baroque, Houston Grand Opera, and the Houston Symphony. An avid chamber musician, Koko co-founded the Violamore Duo with his wife, Leah Kovach. Passionate about education, he mentors young violinists and violists, inspiring them to achieve their artistic potential.
