Mara Riley
Boston-based soprano Mara Riley is celebrated for her compelling musicality, with a passion for early music and art song. Her 2024-2025 season includes performances with Boston Early Music Festival, Emmanuel Music, Boulder Bach Festival, Voces8 US Scholars, and Colorado Bach Ensemble. Winner of the 2024 Rhode Island Civic Chorale Competition, she will debut as soprano soloist in Messiah. A top prizewinner in Boulder Bach Festival’s World Bach Competition, Mara has also performed Handel’s Israel in Egypt with Back Bay Chorale. Holding dual Master’s degrees from NEC, she balances her artistry with a love for the outdoors, hiking Colorado’s sunlit trails.
