Michael Brook, a New Orleans native, began his musical journey at age seven, debuting with the Louisiana Philharmonic as a Young Artist Concerto Competition winner. A graduate of Louisiana State University and the University of Colorado Boulder, he holds dual Master’s degrees in Violin and Viola Performance, earning accolades in competitions such as MTNA and Boulder International Chamber Music Competition. Michael has performed internationally and at the Kennedy Center’s SHIFT Festival. He is Concertmaster of Longmont Symphony, Principal Violist with Colorado Ballet, Assistant Principal Violist with Boulder Philharmonic and Opera Colorado, and a core member of COmpass REsonance.
