Trevor Minton, a native of Rapid City, South Dakota, is an accomplished cellist and educator. He earned his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln on a full scholarship and a Master of Music from the University of Colorado-Boulder, studying with renowned mentors including Judith Glyde and Robert deMaine. Trevor has collaborated with members of the Chiara, Takács, and Ying Quartets and was a semi-finalist in the 2018 Boulder International Chamber Music Competition. As a freelancer, he performs with the Boulder Philharmonic, Colorado Ballet, and Opera Colorado. Passionate about giving back, he supports Music for Food to combat food insecurity.
